Vice President Kashim Shettima commissions the Kwara Garment Factory in Ilorin, set to create 4,000 jobs.

The garment factory, a signature project of the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, is projected to create employment for at least 4,000 people when it reaches full production capacity.

Shettima, who disclosed this in a post on his official X handle, also highlighted the governor’s engagements with the Federal Government and development partners in his capacity as Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum.

According to the Vice President, such engagements go beyond official meetings, as they are ultimately aimed at addressing the needs of farmers, households and businesses.

He commended AbdulRazaq’s administration for its interventions across different sectors, including the renovation of classrooms, expansion of medical coverage and construction of roads linking communities.

The commissioning of the two projects formed part of the Vice President’s engagements in Kwara, where he joined other dignitaries for activities marking the state’s recent developments under the AbdulRazaq administration.
