40-year-old Female Drug Peddler Arrested in Agbor, Police Recover Tramadol, Codeine, Indian Hemp
A 40-year-old woman, identified as Joy Anthony, has been arrested by operatives of the Delta State Police Command over alleged drug peddling in Agbor.
Anthony was arrested during a covert operation carried out by operatives of the Special Anti-Kidnapping Unit (SAKU), Ubulu-Uku, following intelligence received by the police.
According to the police, the operation led investigators to the suspect’s residence in Agbor-Obi, where a search warrant was executed.
During the search, operatives reportedly recovered quantities of Swinol, Tramadol, Codeine, Canadian Loud and weeds suspected to be Indian hemp.
The suspect and the recovered substances have been taken into police custody.
