The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Delta State Chapter, has distanced itself from a lawsuit pending before the Federal High Court in Abuja, which was reportedly filed on behalf of the party’s 36 State Chairmen and State Executive Committees against the National Working Committee.

This clarification was issued in a statement by the party’s State Chairman, Mr. Austine Okolie, who explained that the decision was made to safeguard the integrity, unity, and stability of the ADC in Delta State, as well as to protect the shared interests of its aspirants and members. The party emphasized that as a responsible and progressive political group, it favors established internal conflict-resolution mechanisms over external legal actions that could weaken party cohesion.

The Delta State ADC reaffirmed its dedication to reinforcing party structures, fostering unity, and upholding the democratic principles that form the foundation of the organization.
