The Delta State Police Command has confirmed the death of a 60-year-old American woman, Jacqueline, who passed away while visiting her partner in Udu Local Government Area.
According to reports, Jacqueline arrived from the United States on September 15 to spend time with her Nigerian boyfriend. She reportedly developed sudden health complications days later and was rushed to a hospital in Warri.
Doctors confirmed her dead on arrival, prompting the police to begin investigations into the circumstances.
Authorities said efforts are ongoing to establish the exact cause of death, while assuring that the matter will be handled with transparency.
