‘I Remain Proud of You’ — Otedola Commends Tinubu’s Economic Reforms
Billionaire businessman Femi Otedola has expressed confidence in Nigeria’s economic direction under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, pointing to developments in the capital market, foreign exchange and investment landscape as signs of growing economic stability.

Otedola made the remarks after a private dinner with Tinubu in Paris on Monday evening, sharing photographs from the meeting on his official X handle.
The businessman highlighted what he described as the results of the President’s “bold and forward-thinking reforms,” including the inclusion of leading Nigerian companies in the FTSE Russell Frontier 50 Index and the Nigerian Exchange’s recent performance at historic levels.
He also referenced increased foreign direct investment and what he described as renewed confidence in the Nigerian economy.
On the foreign exchange market, Otedola said the reforms had produced a “unified and more stable” system, while putting Nigeria’s foreign reserves at about $55 billion.
He did not provide further details on the discussions held during the private dinner.
Otedola concluded his message by expressing his continued support for Tinubu, writing: “I remain proud of you, Mr. President!”
