The Okere Community on Monday presented its newly sworn-in Youth Executives to the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR, during a formal visit to the royal palace.

The Youth Executives, led by Chairman, Comrade Sisanmi Jalogho, and Secretary, Comrade Tsemaye Popo, were introduced to the monarch following their inauguration. The presentation was to formally notify the palace of the new leadership and affirm the executives’ readiness to carry out their responsibilities in the community.

They were accompanied by the Ogieboro-in-Council, led by Chief Kofi Kartey, representative of the Olare-Aja of Okere, as well as members of the Okere Community Management Committee (OCMC), chaired by Mr. Fred Olomuro.

Responding, the Olu of Warri acknowledged the presentation, urged the youth leaders to maintain peace and order, and charged them to carry out their duties in line with community traditions and development priorities.
