Nigeria, Qatar Seek Stronger Cooperation at Multilateral Forums
Nigeria is seeking closer cooperation with Qatar, particularly in multilateral engagements, as both countries continue efforts to strengthen their diplomatic relationship.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu, received Qatar’s Ambassador to Nigeria, H.E. Yousef Mohammed Ahmed Al-Hail, on October 5, 2026, for discussions on the relationship between both countries.
The engagement examined opportunities for greater collaboration between Nigeria and Qatar, with particular attention to their cooperation within multilateral forums.
The meeting comes amid continued diplomatic interactions between both countries aimed at expanding areas of mutual interest and reinforcing their bilateral ties.
