Uduaghan: He Was More Than a Former Governor - Igban
Andrew Omagbemi Igban, APC candidate for Warri South West Constituency II in the Delta State House of Assembly, has paid tribute to former Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, describing him as more than a former governor and a son of Delta whose years of public service shaped the state’s political history.

In a condolence statement, Igban recalled Uduaghan’s service as Commissioner for Health, Secretary to the State Government and Governor for two terms, noting that his passing was a loss to his family, political associates and the people of Delta State.
He said the former governor’s death should remind leaders that public service is a responsibility and that their legacy is measured by the impact they make on people’s lives. Igban also urged Deltans to put political differences aside and embrace compassion, unity and respect in mourning the departed leader.
He extended his condolences to the Uduaghan family, friends and associates, praying that God grants them the strength to bear the loss and grants the former governor eternal rest.
