Uvwie LGA Erects Boundary Billboard to Mark Entry, Exit Points Between Uvwie and Warri South
The Uvwie Local Government Council has been commended for erecting a boundary billboard at Ekpan to identify the point where Uvwie Local Government Area meets Warri South Local Government Area in Delta State.

The billboard, located along the Ekpan–Edjeba boundary, carries the inscription “Welcome to Uvwie Local Government Area” on one side and “Goodbye to Uvwie Local Government Area” on the other.
The initiative is expected to improve public awareness of the boundary between the two local government areas and help residents and visitors identify when they are entering or leaving Uvwie.
Those who welcomed the development described it as a practical way to improve boundary identification, while calling on the council to extend the initiative to other boundary points between Uvwie and neighbouring local government areas.
They said additional signs at strategic locations could help reduce confusion over territorial boundaries and make it easier for members of the public to identify the jurisdictions they are entering.
The council’s initiative has therefore drawn commendation as a simple but useful public information measure, with calls for similar billboards to be installed at other entry and exit points across Uvwie LGA.
