Teachers Commend Olu of Warri Over Remodelled Ologbotsere School
The association said the six-classroom block, commissioned on August 25 at Bobi, gives pupils and teachers a better learning environment.
The Itsekiri Teachers Association (ITA) has commended His Imperial Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III, the Olu of Warri, following the commissioning of a remodelled six-classroom block at Ologbotsere Primary School, Bobi, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State.
The project, commissioned on August 25, was described by the association as a significant step toward improving the learning environment for children in the community and advancing education across Iwereland.
In a statement signed by its President, Comr. Joshua Menekporo, and Secretary, Miss Joan Popo, the ITA said the intervention went beyond the provision of physical infrastructure, noting that a better classroom environment can positively influence the confidence, development and educational outcomes of pupils.
The association particularly praised the Olu of Warri’s focus on education and human capital development, describing the project as evidence of a leadership approach that translates vision into tangible impact.
“His Majesty has once again spoken through action and the children of Bobi have heard that message loud and clear,” the association said.
The ITA also recognised the contributions of traditional institutions, community stakeholders, educators and other partners involved in bringing the project to completion.
For teachers, the association said, the improved facilities provided a more conducive environment for teaching and learning and further demonstrated the importance of sustained investment in the education of children across the kingdom.
