Nigeria’s representative at the 73rd Miss World, Tamunosoye Karibi George, has won the Africa’s Top Model title at the ongoing Miss World 2026 competition in Vietnam.
The victory automatically places the Nigerian beauty queen in the Top 40 quarterfinals, boosting her chances of advancing further in the global pageant.
Karibi George has so far featured strongly in three of the four fast-track events, with organisers and supporters calling for increased votes to help her progress towards the crown.
Nigerians have been urged to support her through the official voting platform. Supporters can download the 1Zone app, search for Miss World 2026 and select Nigeria to cast their votes.
Voting is available daily, with supporters encouraged to vote regularly and rally others behind the Nigerian contestant.
With the campaign gaining momentum, supporters are optimistic that the Nigerian representative can go all the way and bring the Miss World crown home.
